 Jonathan D. Black, M.D. graduated Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, PA in 1980. He graduated from Dickinson College, Carlisle PA with honors in 1984. Dr. Black is a graduate of The Medical College of Pennsylvania, and interned in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at The Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1994. In 1996, he was certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and was recertified in 2006. He was in private practice in Reading, PA from 1994 - 2005 and has gained extensive experience in the treatment of fractures, joint replacement and spinal surgery. Dr. Black is married to Rita Hutchinson-Black, M.D. and has 4 children. He is an avid fan of the Philadelpia Eagles, loves playing online chess, and loves to read. Dr. Black enjoys his children's success in school, in Pop Warner football, and in life. |
